These are the Terms & Conditions to my pet care services. We ask all clients to sign a consent form prior to any appointments.
Meet and Greet
-Prior to any booking free meet and greet will be scheduled to find out about you and your pets needs. Any allergies, medications, fears etc. You can ask us any questions too.
-A information form will be sent to the client prior to the meet and greet for some additional information on your pet, during pet walks and visits this form will be with us at all times.
Booking:
- Paws & More does not include travel time, collection/drop off and post walk cleaning in the allocated time, therefore your payment will be solely for their exercise time. Any additional time spent travelling etc are complementary in addition to their walk.
- We provide a free consultation/meet and greet for all new clients to ensure we're the right fit for you and your fur babies. In this time you can ask any questions or worries you may have.
- Prior to booking I will send over an information form asking questions about your pet.
- All bookings must be made at least 24 hours before services start.
Cancellations
- All bookings cancelled before 48 hours will get a full refund.
- If Paws & More do not provide the service agreed to, we will do our best to arrange an alternative.
Payment
- Paws & More accept cash/bank transfer (bank details included on invoice).
-For Dog Walks, payment is paid within 48 hours from service being completed.
-For Pet Feeding, Visits a small deposit may be required at the time of the booking.
-We hold the right to review our prices, any changes will be shown on the website and current customers will be informed in advance.
- Where payment is not received in accordance to these Terms & Conditions, we reserve the right not to proceed with any agreed to arrangements and a cancellation fee will be payable.
Purchases
- If any additional purchases are made in the absence of the client, i.e pet food and litter. Paws & More will retain a receipt and the client is responsible to reimburse the price of those items on their return. These kind of purchases will only be made if absolutely necessary. Please ensure you provide your pets litter, food, bin bags in your household.
Pet Waste
- We will ensure that all pet waste is properly disposed of. For cat litter trays please provide all necessary items such as litter and scoopers and please let us know where you would like us to dispose of the waste. The same for all household pets, including birds, rabbits and more. For dog waste on walks we provide our own biodegradable poop bags and will dispose of them correctly. For dog waste in your household please provide any cleaning products necessary.
Your Household
- In the event of a household emergency your emergency contact will be contacted immediately.
- We request that you provide towels, cleaning products, bin bags, paper towels and plastic bags if necessary.
- Paws & More will promise to clean up after your pet and dispose of the waste properly.
-We are not responsible for any stains or scratch marks created by your pet(s)
Gardens
-Please ensure that your gardens and surrounding areas are secure and safe for your pet, Paws & More do not accept any responsibility for any clients animals that escape to become lost or injured due to an unsafe garden or outside area.
-Please provide all details about any cat flaps or other places your pet has access to.
Collars and Leads
-Please ensure that your pet has a secure collar with a secure tag that clearly states your contact information. We will not accept any dogs without this.
-If your pet requires any special harnesses, leads or muzzles, please provide these.
Medications
-If your pet requires any medications please provide us with instructions to administer these correctly, we cannot be held responsible for any complications.
-Paws & More will not visit or walk any animal that may have a contagious illness.
-Please ensure that all of your pets are fully vaccinated. A copy of their vaccinations will be required before completing any services.
Vets
- Please provide us with your pets vet contact details and location, in case of any emergencies we will transport your pet to their vet and contact you asap.
- We are not responsible for any veterinary costs.
Aggressive Animals
- The client will agree to be responsible for all costs if the clients pet(s) should bite or harm another animal or human. This includes medical and legal fees.
- If your pet has shown any aggression towards other people or animals or has any signs of aggressive tendencies please inform us prior to booking.
- We have the right to not accept to look after or walk any aggressive animals for our own safety.
Updates
- Please provide us with an updates including any changes to your contact details, if the needs of your pets change, or any other information we may need.
Privacy Policies and Insurance
- All client information is confidential and kept private.
- It is the client's responsibility to ensure that the property and all contents within are fully insured. This includes your pets.
- Paws & More are fully insured and have valid public liability cover.
- Lots of photos and videos will be taken of your pets during their walk or visit. The client will give permission for Paws & More to use these photos for our social media. We will make sure that no private information will be shown in these imagery.
Any other information
- Paws & More are fully equipped to walk out in all weathers but in the case of extreme weather circumstances (e.g high temperatures) please ensure that you have your pets best interest in mind. For example; if the weather is to hot for a long walk, we can make other arrangements by either rescheduling or coming to your home for a short safe walk and time in your home to help your pet cool down and have plenty of refreshments.
-If during a visit we require or wish to have a companion accompany us the client will be informed and asked for permission. This companion will not cost the client anything and will be fully DBS checked First Aid Trained.
-If during a visit the client will be late on return, please inform us immediately, additional charges may apply.
